This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

King is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and King follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

So I jus' picked up my order and was very clear over the phone with the girl that took my order. I told her I am a vegetarian and asked about vegetarian appetizer options. She confirmed with me over the phone that the golden triangle was a vegetarian dish. I ordered the spring rolls and the golden triangle. When I took my first bite I wasn't sure if the appetizer had meat or not (it's been years since I ate meat). So I asked my friend to try one and she did. She said it doesn't taste or feel like meat so I assumed it was tofu or lots of crushed up veggies with cheese. The meal did have flavor but I jus' couldn't stop thinking that it may have been meat. I should have called when I wasn't sure instead of continuing to eat the meal (I was hungry). I decided to call after and the man that answered was very nice and informed me that it was indeed chicken!!!! He was willing to take it back, but I had already eaten most of it. I am a vegetarian and have been for very strict spiritual reasons. And I won't carry any guilt over something that shouldn't have happened to begin with. When someone tells you that they are a vegetarian you should ALWAYS double check the ingredients instea

Best thai food I've ever had. Great chicken pad thai, pork pad see ew, and the yellow curry is to die for. Mangy sticky rice is delicious as well. The workers and management are all friendly and do a great job. Highly recommend this place.

Do NOT miss out on this one! Wow. Wow. Wow. I stopped here on a whim because I hoped to find some good pho and oh my goodness gracious, this was one of the best endeavors I've taken. Let's see. The place is in a plaza, so it is next to Food Lion in King. It's spacious and has plenty of places to sit. The service and my specific server was so fantastic and so friendly, and knowledgeable. Then there was the food. Great portion size and this food was hot, fresh and it tasted SO GOOD. Everything I had was wonderful, and it was good enough that I would come back to King JUST for this establishment. I'm still surprised just how amazing it was.

Finding a Thai restaurant in a small city like King, NC was such a pleasant surprise! The food here is consistently great β€” flavorful, fresh, and served in generous portions. The owner is super friendly and always happy to help with the menu if you have any questions, which makes the experience even better. I’ve tried this place several times, and it never disappoints. In fact, this time I went two days in a row β€” that’s how good it was! Definitely a must-visit spot if you’re craving authentic Thai food and warm hospitality.
